Size your speech privacy problem
Speech privacy is sold as one product category when it is really a spectrum with a hundredfold price range. Four questions to locate your own problem on it, before anybody quotes you.
How much space is actually affected?
Answer for the space where confidential speech happens, not the whole building.
How often does the layout or room usage change?
Who needs to be able to adjust the system, and from where?
Is there anything installed already?
This changes the work more than people expect. A retune is often cheaper and better than a replacement.

Answer all four questions to see which level your problem sizes to.
This sizes the problem. It does not diagnose it. The correct order is measure, then prescribe, then deploy — most of the disappointing masking installations I am asked to fix were prescribed first and measured never. Treat this as the number to challenge a quote with, not as a specification.
